Welcome to the Knights of Columbus Council 11008 Minimize

The Saint Patrick Cathedral Council 11008 is located at Saint Patrick Cathedral Church, 212 State Street, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17101, one block from our state capitol.

Our council meetings are held at St. Lawrence Chapel on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 PM. Officers meeting at 6:45 PM.

Saint Patrick Cathedral Council was founded on the twentieth of December, 1992 through the efforts of Monsignor Richard Youtz; who was then our pastor and the 39 brother Knights whose names are listed on the original council Charter.

We decided to call our council Saint Patrick Cathedral Council because most of our activities are done for the parish and our Cathedral grade school. Our council works closely with our present pastor and council chaplain Father Thomas Rozman, to also meet the needs of the community.

Thank You for Helping the Children of Uganda

On behalf of the Youth Group of St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Knights of Columbus wish to thank everyone who participated in our pancake breakfast fundraiser on Sunday, March 23, 2014 after the 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. Masses. Because of your generosity we were able to raise enough funds to purchase nearly 70 mosquito nets for the children. Seventy children will now be able to sleep in peace and not worry about contracting malaria at night.

Have You Ever Thought About Joining the Knights?

We had a strong response from our recruitment drive after the Masses last weekend. If you didn't get a chance to talk with us but would like to join the Knights of Columbus or learn more about who were are please contact us today.

Catholic men are invited to encounter Jesus in a profound way by examining ways to combat daily spiritual battles through the diocesan men’s conference set for May 10.

The event, “Men Engaged in Spiritual Combat: Faith in a Secular Age,” will be held at Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg from 8:15 a.m.-3:45 p.m. It is open to men ages 18 and older, single or married.

The conference will address the “spiritual warfare” in which men are engaged as they fight for good and for their families, said James Gontis, Director of the Diocesan Department for Religious Education. Read more.
